Welcome to this outstanding 420SL. With only 2148 420SL’s built globally this V8 brute is becoming quite the rare beast, especially as the slightly larger displacement 500SL’s have gone through the roof!

This particular car has come full circle. Initially being supplied from Sparshatts of Kent, the car has gone onto be supplied and sold twice by the SL shop, with the obvious meticulous sale preparation including bulkhead certification. Boasting a very strong service history with 29 service entries, the car has most recently been looked after by Stevensons Mercedes-Benz specialist, the founder and head technician also having worked on the car back in the 90’s under Drake & Fletcher Mercedes. 

A fresh service and MOT has just been carried with the SL wanting for nothing! Body and interior are in superb order also benefiting from a recent soft top. The hardtop is also supplied with the car and likewise in super condition. The car drives just as it should, the bulletproof V8 pulling this time warp SL along like a train!
